Which two European teams have qualified for the T20 World Cup 2026?

Netherlands and Italy have qualified for the T20 World Cup 2026 set to be held in India and Sri Lanka.
The Dutch finished the at the top of the Europe Regional Final with three wins out of four games. Itay, though, booked its tickets by the barest of margins, keeping Jersey at bay with a better Net Run Rate (NRR).
On what turned out to be a thrilling Regional Final, Italy, Netherlands, and Jersey were all in the fray to qualify for the world event.
Jersey knocked out Scotland earlier on Friday in a last ball thriller. This was the first time ever that Scotland lost to Jersey in a T20 game.
The result meant Netherlands had to beat Italy to qualify. Meanwhile, Italy just needed to make sure it doesn’t lose by a big margin.

Italy opted to bat first and scored 134 for seven. Though Netherlands chased down the total inside 17 overs, Italy kept the NRR on its side.
The showpiece in 2026 will feature 20 teams, which includes hosts India and Sri Lanka. The other teams to have secured automatic qualification are Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, West Indies and the United States—all teams that reached the Super Eights stage of the last T20 World Cup. Additionally, Pakistan, New Zealand and Ireland also secured automatic qualification owing to their T20I rankings. Canada, too, qualified after winning in the Americas Regional Final in June.
