It looks like the Pushpa fever is far from complete! Allu Arjun’s Pushpa series has not only set the cash registers ringing at the global box office, but also made everyone lap the actor’s signature gesture Taggele Le (Jukhenge Nahi). Musicians to actors to sportsmen from across the world have already embraced and emulated Allu Arjun’s signature gesture. The latest one to follow suit is the Wimbledon, The All-England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club Limited (AELTC).

Novak Djokovic gets Pushpa makeover

Ahead of his first game in the championship, World’s No 1 tennis player Novak Djokovic got a Pushpa makeover and how. In a crossover of cinema and sports, on the official Instagram page of Wimbledon, the organizers posted a caricature photo of Djokovic emulating Allu Arjun’s signature gesture from Pushpa. The graphic photo of Djokovic had his name written in the iconic Pushpa title font and that too in Telugu, much to everyone’s surprise and excitement. Not ending there, to further connect closer to the fans, the caption was also written in Hindi. It read, “Rukega nahi aur jhukega bhi nahi,” taking a cue from the film’s signature dialogue. The photo was posted ahead of Djokovic’s opening match against France’s Alexandre Muller leaving fans buzzing. The photo got the fans excited and they were quick to express their enthusiasm in the comments section.

Post sparks fan excitement

Fans could not stop raving about Djokovic’s Pushpa-style picture. Some netizens expressed surprise that they did not expect this photo while others commented posting Allu Arjun’s signature gesture (jhukega bhi nahi) from the film Pushpa. “How is the official Wimbledon page so much in love with India,” commented one fan. “Best. Post. Ever. As a Telugu tennis player, I’m over the moon,” wrote another. “Toofan ko koi nahi rok sakta,” wrote a netizen. While another fan wrote, “Wow, Wimbledon in Telugu.”
