Exclusive: “Some of The Most Respected Critics Reached Out” – Rohan Gurbaxani on Metro… In Dino

Rohan Gurbaxani is basking in the appreciation from audiences and critics alike for his performance in Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino. The multi-starrer gave Rohan the opportunity to share screen space with one of the most respected names in Indian cinema, Konkona Sen Sharma. Reflecting on the experience, the actor said, “As an actor, I’ve looked up to Konkona for many years. There’s so much truth in all her performances, and the depth she brings to every character is incredible. Working with an actor-director like her was truly inspiring. She not only knows how to connect with a co-actor but was also extremely warm and welcoming.”

He added, “I remember her asking me about my background and training, and it felt very special to be able to share my journey with her. One of my most cherished memories was walking with her on the beach in Goa, just talking about life, art, and our journeys. It was a beautiful moment. I remember telling her I had done my acting training in New York at NYU Tisch, and coincidentally, that was also her dream college growing up.”

Rohan, who continues to win hearts with his earnest performances, believes in staying true to the craft, regardless of the size of the role. “I’ve always lived by the philosophy that no matter how big or small a role is or how high the stakes are in a company or workplace, if you put in an honest effort and stay true to the work, you will stand out. That’s what’s happening with me now, and I’m deeply grateful for it.”
